Senior Cisco CCNP Engineer
My client a leading Global Services Solutions Provider and Cisco Gold Partner have a requirement for a CCNP Engineer to provide tier 3 remote and onsite vendor technical support to a geographically dispersed customer base. Also to provide industry leading customer service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties:
• Provide tier 3 remote and onsite vendor technical support to a geographically dispersed customer base.
• Provide tier 3 vendor technical support on a 24x7 Rota
• Provide escalation management into the vendor and manage incidents in a timely manner.
• Provide an escalation point for service support systems engineers.
• Provide technical documentation of customer infrastructures to a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Attain and maintain individual and corporate accreditations and training.
• Maintain personal administration using internal business systems.
Requirements
• Qualified to Cisco CCNP/CCSP level or equivalent.
• Cisco focused senior engineer with a minimum of 3 years proven experience of Routing Switching in LAN/WAN, Security and Data Centre Environments.
• High level of competence working with and troubleshooting Nexus switches, ACE load balancers and WAAS appliances.
• High level of competence working with and troubleshooting Cisco Routers, Switches and ASA Firewalls
• Experience of a 24x7 Contact Centre operation.
• Experience of working with customers (small, medium and large) operating in diverse sectors.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Flexible approach to work being available at any time for team escalation.
• Ability to work alone, as part of a team.
• Produce high quality customer reports and documentation.
• Exposure to the tele-coms / data-comms industry in a technical support related role essential
Location: Home Based - London South East
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
