Senior Civil Designer Job in Halifax Regional Area, Nova Scotia Canada

Proud of our role in major ventures improving infrastructure, we provide services for all aspects of engineering projects, from feasibility studies and surveys through design, to project and program management, construction management and supervision, start-up and operations.
Due to our continued growth and full slate of projects in the Atlantic Region, we are currently seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
As a senior civil designer knowledge/skills/attributes in this position include:
- experience in project design including drawing development, specification writing, and cost estimating (concept to detail design)
- leadership skills and ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
- focus on quality and an orientation toward safety-in-design
- knowledge of current design codes, standards and industry practices
- Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- 5 years experience in design environment in general civil or municipal engineering,
- CET or P.Tech. designation
