Our client is a well established, integrated design company and well respected for providing high profile projects and a reputation for excellence in project design. More than a design consultancy, they get involved from inception, development management and master planning, right through to project management and construction supervision.
Roles within this organisation are well sought after and our client now requires a Senior Civil Engineer based in their Gold Coast office. You will have the opportunity to get involved with a company that will offer you a diverse career path whilst still maintaining strong land development relationships on the Gold Coast. You will prepare quality documents such as concept plans, detailed designs, cost estimates and tender submissions as part of your responsibilities for the road and drainage infrastructure projects in central QLD.
You will be ambitious and have:
- Civil Engineering Degree Qualifications
- RPEQ or CPEng
- 10+ years post graduate experience in civil engineering.
- Proven experience in civil works: including state roads, stormwater reticulation modelling and design, earthworks, pump station design, rising main design and Project Management.
- Competent in Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Autotrun and 12D
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards, State and Local Govt policies, codes and guidelines
- The right to work in Australia and proven Australian experience
- Good communication and time management skills
- Problem solving abilities and initiative
