Job title: Senior Civil / Structural Engineer (w/ Geotechnical Knowledge)

We are currently working with a leading international engineering and environmental consultancy who are seeking a high calibre Senior Engineer to join their well regarded civil structures division. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of high profile projects.
Key Skills / Experience:
The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas;
- Design of buried heavy civil structures
- Experience in the design of bridges and highway structures
- Working geotechnical knowledge related to soil structure interaction
- Experience in the use of ground modelling software such as PLAXIS or similar would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of Eurocodes
- Experience in the use of structural analysis and design software
- Experience in the use of embedded wall analysis software such as WALLAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to generate and technically review reports
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered or approaching chartership with ICE or IStuctE
- Ability to work to deadlines, within budget and to programme, to control costs and to effectively manage resources and change control
- Knowledge of the TfL and Network Rail approvals procedures would be an advantage
