Senior Client Administrator – Investment Operations Outsourcing recruitment

Principal Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of all client reporting (valuations, ad hoc reports, quarterly investment reports), accurately and within specified timeframes.

• Respond to external queries received in relation to client reports.

• Provide support for the accounting team in Bangalore in order to ensure that reporting data is correct.

• Deal with all client cash injections and withdrawals appropriately, including money laundering checks.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to general queries received from clients, consultants, auditors and other third parties.

• To work closely with the relevant contacts within our investment management clients to provide the best possible service, responding to queries and escalating as appropriate.

• Assist with testing of ongoing projects as requested.

• Assist with quality controlling of client reports.

• Responsible for checking and delivering fee invoices prepared by dedicated fee analysts.

• Be aware of all service level agreements and KPIs in place.

• Be aware of your SMART objectives and continually strive to improve.

• Ensure issues are escalated to the appropriate personnel across the business in a timely manner.

• Ability to actively build and maintain a good network, utilising your strong interpersonal skills

• Foster and develop long?term relationships with internal clients and suppliers.

• Continuously meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of all clients.

• Work within a team with a strong willingness to assist others when required, building effective relationships with members of other teams

• Identify and address inefficiencies in systems and processes, resulting in improvements and cost saving.

Skills / Experience

Essential

•   Extensive experience in a client reporting role.

•   Good knowledge of administration and reporting functions for institutional pension funds or high net worth private clients

•   Must have a strong understanding of Operations processes

•   Familiarity with a wide range of Investment  instruments and with asset management terminology.

•   Strong Excel skills

•   Ability to communicate effectively with clients and at all levels internally

•   Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills

•   Ability to work flexibly when dealing with varying client requirements

•   Ability to work within a team environment

•   Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload

•   Completed IAQ (or working towards)

Desirable

•   Understanding of performance calculations

•   Eagerness and creative attitude towards improving product offering as well as a desire to identify and implement process efficiencies

•   Ability to quickly understand new systems, both in-house and market data provider systems such as Bloomberg highly desirable
