Role
This role, based in London, is responsible for developing, writing and editing Private Bank client communications across the International business, including Europe and Asia.
The Communications Specialist is responsible for maintaining an understanding the Private Bank and the experience it offers clients and using these insights to develop effective client communications regarding all regulatory, investment or business changes.
Collaborating with business partners and legal and compliance, this professional will work to understand business and regulatory needs, and write/edit client communications, often under tight deadlines.
This individual will own the role of client experience "advocate" and make recommendations to improve the experience for clients.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing client communications and supporting materialsDetermining versioning requirementsContributing writing, messaging and positioning support for other projects as neededCollaborates with internal partners to understand the purpose and intent of a client communication to ensure that the required message is accurate, appropriate versioned and that any actionable steps are clearly outlinedWrites persuasively and in the straightforward, direct manner that is consistent with J.P. Morgan's voice and observing the firm's editorial style guideWorks with all stakeholders (business partners, legal and compliance) to reach agreement on final copy including obtaining and archiving all appropriate sign-offs from the business, legal and compliance.Works with Client Communications Manager to verify and approve all communications before they get delivered to printer for final distribution.Communicates progress on written materials to all stakeholders; delivers within specified deadlines.

Required Skills
Experience working with a wide variety of writing styles including legal and compliance to finalize communicationsProven writing ability: adept at conveying complex, detailed information in a direct and clear mannerAbility to modify tone appropriately for specific communication and target audienceDiplomacy to incorporate all opinions (many times conflicting), yet possessing the self-confidence to make recommendations on how a message can be conveyed most effectively for intended audienceAbility to manage multiple projects with concurrent deadlinesStrong relationship management skills.
Ability to lead a project team and develop solid working partnerships with peers, colleagues and senior management.Strong client and business partner needs focus.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related business disciplineExperience in communications and/or marketing experience, preferably in a financial services environmentPrior experience in private banking space a plusProficient Microsoft office required
