Senior Clinical Outsourcing Manager Job in North Chicago 60064, Illinois US
Our client is a global, broad-based health care company devoted to the discovery, development, manufacture and marketing of pharmaceuticals and medical products, including nutritionals, devices and diagnostics. They are currently seeking a Senior Clinical Outsourcing Manager to work out of their corporate headquarters in northern, Illinois. This individual will economically and efficiently purchase services for Clinical Operations in compliance with Outsourcing and Purchasing policies, procedures, and objectives. This includes the assurance of contract and service quality to meet or exceed divisional goals. The Outsourcing Manager will interact with clinical teams, Finance, OEC, Legal, functional areas, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and resolve issues that arise. Highlights of responsibilities include:
• Development and leadership of strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Prepare, negotiate, and implement agreements that maximize value and support activities on time and in budget and in compliance with the Outsourcing process parameters.
• Lead standard and complex contract negotiations.
• Draft, negotiate, and/or route standard contract types: CDA's, Meeting Planning, Termination Letters, Amendments, Consulting Agreements, MTA's, and IIS agreements, Clinical Study Agreements, Service Agreements, Licenses, SMO's, Phase I studies, SOW's, and IPA's.
• Execute Clinical Study Agreement templates.
• Drive the RFP Process, supplier selection, and bid defense meetings for clinical teams.
Qualified candidates will have a BS/BA, MS, Ph.D. Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Finance PLUS 10+ years experience in Pharma industry with an emphasis on the business (contracting, outsourcing, finance) and/or technical (chemistry, biology, clinical) aspects.
