The Role:

Bloomberg is a recognized leader and industry standard in the Structured Products market. Structured Products, the largest and most complex sector of the Fixed Income market includes Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities, Collateralized Mortgage Obligations, and many variations of Asset-Backed securities. The CMBS modeling team is seeking a talented data analyst in this space with proven abilities to conduct quality control measures.

Responsibilities:

* Manage Bloomberg's deal library by monitoring monthly updates using proprietary tools in a timely fashion.
* Perform daily data integrity checks by analyzing data trends and utilizing management reports.
* Actively work with issuers, investors, trustees and servicers to verify deal data, cashflow models.
* Support peripheral products that leverage our CMBS information

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science preferred
* Proficiency with Excel is required, VBA skills preferred
* Familiarity with the CREFC IRP
* Understanding of collateral amortization terms and basic bond math
* Effective communication and organizational skills
* Strong aptitude for problem solving with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as within a group
* Exposure to Fixed Income Securities instruments a plus
* Experience with Bloomberg environment a plus
