Job Description:

Atlas Properties has an immediate opening for a Senior Collections Specialist in Moreno Valley.  This is an excellent opportunity to excel in all aspects of real estate.  The ideal candidate must possess 5-7 years collections experience with excellent communication and organizational skills.  To be able to work as a team is crucial to succeed in this position.  Salary commensurate based on experience.

Duties / Responsibilities:

·         Outstanding Customer Service a MUST!

·         Track all activity on delinquent rents, tenant issues, abandonment notices and rent reductions

·         Assist with writing letters to tenants, vendors and clients

·         Communicate and partner daily with tenants, vendors and leasing agents

·         Follow up with trailing documents and missing information

·         Research and support Collections Manager on various administrations duties including collection calling

·         Collects delinquent accounts by locating and notifying tenants through telephone or in-person

·         Communicate account tracking, analysis findings and recommendations to Management

·         Account billing / Tenant billing questions

·         Heavy phones

·         Running / managing tenant ledgers and audits

·         Data Entry – heavy computer usage

·         Overall problem solving / researching solutions

Educational Requirements:

·         College Degree preferred but not required

Qualifications:

·         Must have at least 5 - 7 years experience in Collections and Credit

·         Experience in leasing preferred

·         Financial and Negotiation skills required

·         Bilingual – Spanish, preferred but not required

·         Intermediate to Advanced level experience in Excel, MS Word and Outlook

·         Follow up skills a MUST

·         Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take directions and multi-task
