Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Global Commodity Manager within Honeywell's Integrated Supply Chain/Global Commodities organization is an instrumental position in ensuring Honeywell Aerospace's success. This Senior Commodity Manager will coordinate the development and implementation of the sourcing strategy; develop and implement the STRAP and annual operating plans; serve as critical stakeholder in supplier transitions and make-to-buy outsourcing decisions; Coordinate all annual supply chain re-pricing between the Outsourced Manufacturer and Honeywell Commodity Management team across the entire Honeywell-Supplier supply chain network; assume the lead negotiator role in Outsourced Manufacturing contract negotiations and pricing model discussions; serve as the primary focal point for all commercial business issues; and coordinating cross functional teams to improve operational supply chain improvement. This candidate will be located in the United States due to the multi-geography supply chain complexity; the military nature of parts of the extended supply chain; proximity to Aero senior leadership and a significant amount of the extended internal stakeholder community; proximity to the majority of Global Commodity Managers; and aligns with the supplier's customer facing leadership and decision making team located in North America. Basic Qualifications: US citizenship required due to government contracts Bachelor ??s Degree is required 6+ years of commodity management experience or closely related expertise with direct supply chain experience in the Outsourced Manufacturing industry with experience in both North America and Asia 6+ years experience managing contract manufacturers, specifically CCA ??s boxes, leading contract negotiations, driving VMI implementation, minimizing obsolescence zero demand impact Additional Qualifications: MBA preferred Capable of independently leading negotiations and influencing the supply base to achieve department metrics for cost, quality, and delivery targets Ability to explore alternate sourcing work with sub-tier supply base to drive opportunities Driving price negotiations ensuring 90% of spend is on contract Microsoft Office proficiency with demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel Success in managing through influence and persuasion in a highly matrixed structure Professional certifications desirable (Green Belt, CPM, CPIM, CSFP, etc.) Strong written and presentation communication skills - Strong analytical skills Aerospace experience preferred Ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals - Ability to work with and provide insight to senior executive management Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-driven organization As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforce.
