Senior Compensation Analyst Job in Camp Hill 17011, Pennsylvania US

Job Summary: Will be responsible for providing analytical support and subject matter expertise as a part of global CoE team including, but not limited to, current compensation programs throughout the Americas, and contribution to new program design and implementation in line with the company’s compensation philosophy globally.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Contribute to design and implementation of compensation programs in the Americas.

Participate in plan modeling, cost analysis and analysis of market trends and best practice

 

Support the Head of Rewards, Legal and Accounting in the annual Proxy statement CDA process

 

Liaise with Finance, Legal and outside consultants regarding the administration of the company’s long term incentive programs

 

Contribute to the Global Compensation Team on the continuous rollout of Harsco’s global salary structure and various pay/allowance programs on an Americas, or other regional support as needed, level providing analytical support and subject matter expertise

 

Evaluate positions throughout the Americas using the Company’s methodology to determine position(s) level and total compensation, ensuring timely and quality delivery of job evaluations and pricings for recruitment, promotions etc. according to the company policy and business needs

 

             Ensure efficient administration of variable pay and merit review programs in the Americas, and assist global geographical HR in timely and accurate management, administration of these programs

 

Analyze internal equity and external competitiveness of all elements of compensation based on position levels.  Assist in identifying and recommending changes based on this analysis

 

Participate in external wage surveys and benchmark Harsco’s positions to identify relative market position

 

Maintain employee compensation files as needed

 

Contribute to the process of the Americas wide compensation reporting and data management.  Maintain ongoing communication with international administrative support staff to ensure relevant data management processes are followed on an Americas level

 

             Maintain and distribute, as needed, Harsco Pay Policies.  Monitor Harsco’s promotion and merit rating programs to ensure compliance with established guidelines.  Maintain and/or create job descriptions to ensure compliance to country labor laws

 

Support Compensation Center of Expertise in preparation of various reports using the HR Dashboard and in conformance with the needs of the organization/business units.  Provides analysis and recommendations based on the content of the various reports.

 

Provides other general related duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

 

 

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

University degree in Human Resources, or Finance field

5 years of relevant previous experience

At least 3 year experience in modeling and plan design of compensation programs

Experience implementing compensation programs in multiple countries

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Master's Degree in relevant field

·         Ability to speak multiple languages

·         Advanced analytical skills required to perform financial modeling

·         Proficient Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel and pivot tables

·         Highly organized and able to multi task

·         Knowledge of social security and reward environment in North, Latin and South America

·         Understanding of legislative environment in North, Latin and South America

·         Experience working with a HRIS system – Oracle preferred.

·         Strong knowledge of global HR Processes and Policies

·         Exceptional analytical skills required to perform financial modeling and interpretation of data from multiple systems or sources.

·         Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

·         Must be an excellent communicator (oral and written)

·         Must be a problem solver and be able to work with minimal supervision
