Senior Compliance Adviser – Data/Technology – Singapore recruitment
The successful candidate will be expected to provide compliance support on outsourcing/offshoring matters, together with data compliance to the group. Ancillary formulating, implementing, and monitoring of related policies and frameworks will also be involved.
Scope of responsiblities (including but not limited to the following):
Advisory and Risk
- Support and assist the relevant team heads to be principal counsel for the team on outsourcing and data governance and strategy, and on wider banking technology issues as they arise.
- Pro-actively identify material legal and regulatory risks relating to outsourcing, offshoring and data.
- Anticipate and assess key regulatory risk trends in the outsourcing and data areas.
Controls development and implementation
- Assist in the implementation and embedding of the policy and procedures of the data governance framework.
Training
- Identify training and education needs of the department, and work to develop and provide appropriate training (in conjunction with other relevant compliance teams where appropriate) to such stakeholders on outsourcing, offshoring and data.
Monitoring/reporting
- Proactively support and assist other relevant compliance teams in the development and implementation of appropriate compliance monitoring and periodic reviews for outsourcing, offshoring and data.
