Senior Compliance Advisor – Private Side & Research Compliance recruitment

Key Roles Responsibilities
- Implement appropriate compliance infrastructure and controls
- Perform risk assessments, and provide efficient and practical advice
- Pro-active risk identification of regulatory changes or business developments
- Development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
- Regulatory risk management
- Provide advice on new product and new business structures
- Supervision of training requirements, monitoring, marketing activities, licensing and desk reviews
- Interface with global product heads for standardization, reporting and efficiency

Qualifications Skills
- Either a compliance officer or qualified lawyer with a background in corporate finance, principal finance and/or research experience with major investment banks
- A minimum of 8 years of securities industry experience
- Experience in regional regulatory issues in particular, in South East Asia
- Excellent regulatory management and relationship skills
- Good knowledge on rules and regulations on corporate finance, principal finance and/or research
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English ability
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Leadership skills and management ability
- Commitment to excellence
