Senior Compliance Advisory – Corporate Finance
Senior Compliance Officer-DCM-VP-Investment Banking-London-£80k-£95k
This is a superb VP level role working for a Global investment. This role offers a fantastic advisory opportunity to take a senior position in a thriving bank and significantly influence the future direction of your sector!
This role focuses on Corporate Finance products and covers the following responsibilities:
- Provide a day-to-day advisory service for regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures, best practice guidelines and reputational matters which impact debt capital market activities across all EMEA jurisdictions
- Liaise closely with the business and the Legal Teams covering Corporate Finance products to identify and manage the regulatory risks associated with specific transactions and the businesses as a whole
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Maintain and update business related compliance policies and procedures manuals across all Corporate Finance businesses and products
- Provide induction and training when required on regulatory requirements, policies and best practice
- Liaise with compliance colleagues globally
- Assess new products, services and systems in light of new and existing policies and procedures, before, during and after their design and structuring
- Partner with Internal Audit
- Monitor and review regulatory developments and assess impact on business and manage accordingly
The successful candidate will be coming from a similar senior level role in investment banking where they were dealing with advisory within Corporate Finance. Extensive compliance experience is essential, as is knowledge of market structures, products, new issuance processes, prospectus requirements and market abuse regulation. Personality wise the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have strong presentation skills, and be able to deal with senior management. Being a team player is a must whilst being proactive and capable of using initiative as required.
