Senior Compliance Analyst recruitment
Job Purpose:
The role reports directly to the Senior Compliance Analyst, supporting both the LO and AI funds businesses, within a total team of 34. The Utility reports in through the head of hedge Operations in Ireland, with a dotted line to the Compliance Director locally.
The team is responsible for processing subscription and redemption referrals from the LO and AI teams both to confirm minimum acceptance in respect of subscriptions and to review compliance with AML requirements for redemptions. The purpose of this role is to take on work which is migrating into Dublin from other regional offices.
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day management of daily trade activity, screening, investor follow ups, queries
- Responsible for follow up with investors regarding outstanding AML documentation and update of records in this regard, in order to be able to report effectively to investors, Clients, Auditors and Internal Compliance, regarding investor AML compliance
- Effective filing and archiving of all AML documentation in line with regulation
- Remediation of investor bases converted form other administrators
- Implementation of new Clients
- Ongoing screening of investor against sanctions lists and appropriate internal and Client reporting based on results
- Preparation for and participation in Client operational calls regarding AML for the Client's investor base; Due Diligence visits by Clients and Investors; Auditor visits
Skills
Knowledge/experience:
- Minimum one to two years funds experience
- Ability to demonstrate management and coaching skill
- Knowledge of hedge and long funds, including investor AML
- Knowledge of Irish Anti Money Laundering AML legislation

- Good understanding of management information systems
- Spanish and/or German language skills preferable
