Senior Compliance Manager – Asset Management recruitment
Summary:
Top tier Asset Management firm is seeking an AVP in Compliance. The team and the member will support the business in Hong Kong and APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of compliance program, control reviews and other projects;
- AML/KYC; and
- Design and implementation of a global regulatory compliance training program. Additionally, this individual would assist in the transactional based monitoring practices and marketing material reviews. A role with broad exposures and an opportunity to learn and grow.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of asset management, consulting, or regulatory experience.
- Prior performance in a supervisory role. In depth knowledge of the US federal securities laws; knowledge of other US and non-US regulatory requirements (e.g., FSA, CFTC) a plus.
- Experience with internal controls and the development, implementation and management of regulatory, compliance and/or legal programs.
- Strong written/oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or law degree a plus.
- English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential
