Senior Compliance Manager / Debt Capital Markets recruitment
Our client, a global financial institution is looking for a senior compliance manager to provide advice, guidance and support to their Debt Capital Markets business. The individual would help to mitigate regulatory risks to protect and enhance the reputation of the firm.
Duties Include:
• Point of contact for business in regards to regulatory and transactional advice.
• Provide advice and monitor all aspects of Debt Capital Markets business in line with applicable laws, rules and regulations
• Provide advice on conflict of interest to the business
• Liaise with external auditors in relation to compliance matters
• Provide compliance input into due diligence process and respond within agreed timescales.
• Provide compliance support and expertise to other business units surrounding the Debt Capital Markets business
• Liaise with Senior Management and advise on regulatory matters
• Assist the development of the compliance monitoring programme in relation to the business alongside compliance monitoring team.
• Assess impact of regulatory changes upon the business in regards to UK and overseas regulation
The successful candidate will ideally have a Wholesale or Investment Banking background with a strong knowledge of origination, syndication and leverage acquisition finance. You will be aware of current regulatory issues and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with Senior Management in the UK and Abroad.
