Senior Compliance Manager needed – CIB recruitment

The position is within a group assurance team involving risk, conpliance, audit and legal professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance or audit risk professional to gain exposure to different parts of the group and BAU throughout.

Key Skills required:

-          Develop and manage compliance reviews on the effectiveness of compliance controls in the business and the fairness of customer outcomes.

-          Manage regulatory and conduct risk assessments, gap analyses and challenges of business monitoring plans

-          Escalate appropriate MI to Directors, Heads of Desks and Senior Compliance management

-          Support the business in developing appropriate action plans to address                        the causes of unfair customer outcomes

Key skills required:

            -      Strong knowledge and experience performing compliance monitoring                           reviews within financial services such as desk-based, thematic or risk                  assessments

-          Internal audit/assurance/compliance monitoring background all relevant
Up to date regulatory awareness in light of such directives including MiFID, Market Abuse directive, COBS and TCF

-          Understanding of emerging regulation and compliance issues and their impact

-          Proven people management and team leading skills

-          Experience providing regular reviews and refreshes of risk assessments plans

Travel: 20 – 25%
