Senior Compliance Officer — AML Policy & Training recruitment
Other responsibilities include:-
- Coordinate the implementation of the Global AML, Anti-Bribery and Sanctions Policy and Directives in all businesses sectors for the Asia Pacific region.
- Facilitate and assist in the development and implementation of One-Bank regional AML, Anti-Bribery, Sanctions policies and/or procedures, where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with the Global, Regional and Local AML Teams in the implementation and management of effective AML, Anti-Bribery and Sanctions policies and procedures.
- Coordinate; provide support and input to the Regional Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officers and Country Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officers in the drafting of AML, Anti-Bribery and Sanctions policies/procedures as necessary.
- Oversee the development and roll out of a communication plan for changes to policies and procedures relating to AML, anti-bribery and sanctions.
- Work with the various policy owners to ensure that the regional and local AML, Anti-Bribery and Sanctions policies, procedures and related documents comply with the Global requirements.
- Work with Regional Regulatory Compliance and policy owners in tracking the review of policies, procedures and related documents relating to AML, Anti-Bribery and Sanctions.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry AML initiatives and best practices, industry ‘red flags’, money laundering and terrorist financing trends and work with the Global, Regional and Local AML teams to enhance AML policies/procedures as necessary.
- Develop and assist in developing appropriate policy related communication and training as necessary
- Supervises training administrators with course set up and work with course owners to define target audience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop AML training materials.
The ideal candidate would fit the following critieria:-
- University Degree
- 8 + years policy creation or related experience, strong preference AML/Sanctions.
- 8 + years experience in banking/financial services, preferably Compliance, Audit or Legal.
- Understanding of U.S. AML/Sanctions legal and regulatory requirements, general understanding of AML/Sanctions requirements globally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiating and persuasive abilities.
- Analytical and management skills.
- Ability to work closely and co operatively with the business and other support departments.
- Strong planning and organization skills, with ability to execute multiple tasks at the same time.
- Ability to work under pressure
