Senior Configuration Coordinator
Position Overview
The Sr. Configuration Coordinator will define business system requirements, ensure accurate system configuration and processing of Medicare Advantage claims according to plan design and provider contracts.
Responsibilites
- Coordinate with management in other operational areas to ensure that software functionality and business processes accurately fulfill the obligations to enrollees, providers and CMS.
- Implement system / process enhancements and create the necessary policies, procedures, training, and task documents.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans.
- Analyze and investigate escalated claim processing issues to determine root cause and trends.
- Develop solutions to business requirements through analysis and implementation.
- Learn and understand the data structures, tables and elements in Facets system.
- Lead and implement various projects across multiple departments.
Qualifications:
- Experience in system or product configuration, analysis and implementation.
- Experience in facilitating meetings and coordinating multiple levels of projects is required.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and written.
- A background in root cause analysis/resolution required.
- Possess strong initiative, drive, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational capabilities with ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Bachelor Degree
- Computer Skills; Microsoft Skills in Excel, Outlook and Word
