Harrington Starr is currently partnered with the leading Latency and Fix Connectivity Consultancy in the UK. They operate in a niche market and are currently looking to hire a Senior Consultant.

If you are successful in your application for the Senior Consultant role you would be expected to carry out the following duties on a daily basis:

* Liaising with business and technical stakeholders in Tier 1 banks on a daily basis in order to provide latency and ERN connectivity solutions
* Creating applications to the fix open source network
* Running Latency and connectivity tests
* Taking conference calls from multiple investment banks in order to discuss latency and Connectivity issues and devise solutions that may be uniform
* Help provide the latency and connectivity benchmark for investment banks

The successful engineer would be working for the most prestigious ERN connectivity and Latency consultancy in the UK. As a result of their success they now provide a latency bench marking service for investment banks and are widely renowned as the go to firm in their field. Working for my client will allow you to utilise your technical, business and client facing skills on a daily basis. As a result of working closely with FIX protocol which would be inherent to your role you would become an SME and a global leader in your field.

In order to successfully apply for the Senior Consultant role you must have the following skills:

* An excellent understanding of FIX protocol 5.0
* An excellent understanding of ERN connectivity
* Extensive experience in a client facing role
* Experience in sell side banking is essential-Fixed income, Equity and FX
* The ability to provide articulate documentation of reports speculating where connectivity issues are able to be remedied
