Job Summary:
Our client is a sustainability consultancy looking for a Senior Consultant to support an increasing demand for expertise in assessing CHP and District Heating Schemes in terms of their technical and economic performance and assessing the policy opportunities for encouraging the uptake of CHP and District Heating.
Key Skills:
The successful candidate will be a mechanical, processes or chemical engineer with the technical knowledge to conduct CHP/community heating feasibility studies, evaluation of energy supply systems performance, as well as the following skills:
- Excellent organisational, problem solving and influencing skills
- The ability to work to commercial imperatives
- An understanding of government policies relating to CHP
- Experience of working in a consultancy or an evaluation team at a utilities company
- In addition, you will demonstrate good attention to detail, technical report writing ability, be able to assimilate information quickly
