Senior Consultant – Financial Advisory Services

We have a great opportunity in our Corporate Relations Group for a Senior Consultant – Financial Advisory Services. Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Products Analysis, this position will coordinate delivery of financial advisory services and products to internal CFC staff and external members.
Essential Functions
- Manage the creation and update of financial/economic models for CFC employees and cooperative members.
- Develop CFC financial workshops for Member CFO’s, CEO’s and others; including strategy and content.
- Represent CFC as a conference speaker and seminar facilitator.
- Frequently publish articles with a financial/economic focus directed towards CFC employees and cooperative members.
- Create Cooperative.com Finance Community content and perform other liaison functions as required.
Education Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MBA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification preferred.
- 5 years of experience in management consulting, professional services, or business management.
- Experience creating and delivering technical print and website publications.
- Development and implementation of financial models, best practices, policies and procedures.
- Expert Excel skills including use of Visual Basic (VBA).
- Demonstrated persuasive public speaking and technical training expertise.
- Knowledge of electric and telephone cooperative operations and governance, financing and credit considerations desirable.
Skills Requirements
- Professional-level applications using Microsoft products including Excel, Word, MS Project, Access and Power Point. Comfortable using programs that perform statistical processes including multiple regression and Monte Carlo simulation.
- Meticulous diligence and precision in preparation of business plans, computer models, training and other advisory materials.
- Frequent travel required.
