Senior Consultant – Advisory
The Advisory Services business is a fast-growing division within EY. We are a dynamic group focused on providing high value independent, trusted advice to clients, with a focus on business transformation programmes and financial management. Our finance service line team works with clients to address issues of importance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in creating value and delivering world-class finance capabilities.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Consultant will include:
- Working closely with our industry groups and leveraging the EY brand as independent, trusted advisors, including advising clients on;
- Finance Transformation and Finance Performance Improvement - including assessing finance function performance, finance vision and strategy and finance process and controls design
- Shared Services/Outsourcing - preparing business cases for outsourcing of finance functions and managing this process
- Planning and Performance Management - identifying finance performance measures
- Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting Clients - helping to build finance models.
Qualification/skills you'll need as a Senior Consultant:
- Primary Degree (2.1) or above, from a leading university
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA or ACCA
- Currently working in either: Big 4, global management consultancy firm or within industry - with an appropriate financial and performance management background
- Previous consulting experience or significant project and business improvement experience within large recognised businesses
- Detailed knowledge of finance function accounting operations, financial management and finance function processes (PTP, RTR).
