Senior Consultant Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity Management

Responsibilities:

 

Proven ability to create, implement, and validate effective disaster recovery
programs at the international level. Highly adept project manager, able to
direct projects from inception and design through to execution. Ability to lead,
motivate, and train individuals and teams. Able to formulate and introduce
policies and procedures. Extensive familiarity with all aspects of project and
department management, including budgeting, scheduling, and operations

. Supports Client's wide-ranging business information requirements, implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions.

. Develops and supports customized query applications which analyze key business data. Also develops and supports guided analysis and drill-down functionality, routine scheduling and notification of report generation, and effective implementation of "opportunity" and "key-trend" alerts.

. Provides Clients with approach options and tools for managing business-related data in a manner that assists in quantitative analysis of progress and the relationship between operational actions and their effect on business objectives.

Experience Levels:

5+ years in a similar role, preferably with Financial Services Experience

BS in IT – Computer Science a plus
Masters Degree a plus

General Skills: . Experience with analyzing data in source systems to identify data cleanliness issues (e.g. missing values, duplicate meanings, and invalid data)
. Experience with developing feedback processes to get corrupt data fixed in the source systems
. Experience with developing data extraction, transformation, and load programs (daily and initial load) functionality on a wide-range of data repositories (relational and multi-dimensional data stores)
. Experience with developing, implementing and maintaining schedule/dependency logic for Extract Transform Load (ETL) scripts
. Experience with developing monitoring and error notification processes to ensure data is updated as designed
. Experience with developing automation extraction, cleansing and load scripts
. Experience generating research models and reports (scheduled and ad-hoc)
. Proven troubleshooting and analytical experience
. Desirable Skills
. Knowledge and experience in developing data analysis applications
