Senior Consultant – Enterprise Information Management/BI

Our Enterprise Information Management Team brings a "business lead/technology enabled" mindset to business intelligence. This involves starting the with fundamental business needs for information and insights and working through the equally important elements of people, process, structure, technology and data to delivery on these requirements.
Our integrated offering of PwC's EIM strategy expertise and the BI technology implementation capabilities of PwC Avantis means that we understand the full delivery lifecycle and provide our advice accordingly. Due to team growth we currently require experienced Senior Consultants to join our Enterprise Information Management team, based in Melbourne.
Working across a variety of clients including telco, retail and financial services your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reporting to a senior team member, be an integral part of the delivery activities for the project lifecycle
- Assist clients to identify their requirements and challenges before working within a team to define an Information Management 'target state' and a pragmatic roadmap to deliver it
- Working with Senior Management to provide independent and consultative advice on clients' existing IM strategies to ensure that it is aligned with business goals
- Provide impartial vendor advice when considering specific client requirements to ensure the best outcome and return on investment
- Provide EIM/BI solution advise and leadership by applying your skills and experience in one or more of:
- data analysis and mapping
- data extraction-transformation-load solution analysis, design and build
- master data management
- Business Intelligence solution design and build
- the application of emerging NOSQL technologies
- Assist our clients in BI Operating models governance
To be successful in this role you will ideally have at least three years experience within Business Intelligence/EIM, ideally within a consulting environment. This opportunity is advisory focused and requires an individual with impeccable communication skills and the ability to provide strategic and high level advice without bias. Key to your success will be your ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as a demonstrated knowledge of industry and market trends.
