Senior Consultant (Forensics Technology)- Cyber-Melbourne

PwC Cyber unites the firms information security, resilience, cybercrime response, and technology risk teams to help clients manage their end-to-end information risks. As a new service offering for PwC, we currently require an experienced Computer Forensics specialist to join our team.
This position will suit applicants who have a high level of motivation and the flexibility to multi-task to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The successful applicant will be joining a specialised team and will primarily be involved in applying a combination of evidentiary and technical IT knowledge to a variety of computer forensics and legal support projects. The capacity to demonstrate a strong understanding of evidence handling procedures, as well as experience utilising electronic discovery technologies will cement success in this role. This opportunity requires the individual to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team on medium to large sized projects.
To be successful in this position you will ideally have:
- Tertiary or TAFE qualifications in IT, Computer Forensics and/or Finance
- Experience in computer forensics is essential
- Knowledge and experience of the e-discovery process including the skills to consult with clients on each stage of the e-discovery lifecycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with impact to both internal staff and external stakeholders/clients
- An ability to understand and communicate findings to business problems in a clear and articulate manner
- Strong understanding of computer forensics applications and methodologies (e.g. Encase, FTK etc.)
- Knowledge of document review platforms (e.g. Ringtail, Relativity etc)
- A team player attitude with strong time and project management skills
- The drive and determination to grow the Cyber business profile, both internally and within the external market
