Accountabilities in this role

 

Partners with business leaders to create and implement a management agenda. Through collaboration with HR, develops and implements the supporting HR strategy.The Senior Consultant Business Partner is responsible for implementing and monitoring the use of human resources and human resource policies to best achieve the organization's objectives. This position will support our Swedesboro, NJ, Edison, NJ and Bedford, MA locations and will require 30% travel. Typical areas of responsibility include: •Anticipating and planning for long-term human resource needs and trends; •Ensuring that current employees have the necessary skills for future requirements; •Overseeing the implementation of human resource policies; •Developing and administering compensation and benefits programs and maintaining human resource information systems. A subset of the HR jobs have a business partner orientation. •Ensures the alignment of HR initiatives to drive business objectives and financial objectives.    •Drives Corporate HR Initiatives within assigned areas of the business, including but not limited to:  Voice of the Employee (VOE) Survey and action planning, MBO management, Compensation Planning, Performance Management/ Differentiation and Talent Review.                  •Interprets corporate guidelines and provides managers and employees with employee relations support. •Provides support on larger Business Unit projects and initiatives. •Performs other duties as assigned.      Specific responsibilities include: •Ensures the alignment of HR initiatives to drive business objectives and financial objectives.    •Drives Corporate HR Initiatives within assigned areas of the business, including but not limited to:  Voice of the Employee (VOE) Survey and action planning, MBO management, Compensation Planning, Performance Management/ Differentiation and Talent Review.                  •Interprets corporate guidelines and provides managers and employees with employee relations support. •Provides support on larger Business Unit projects and initiatives. •Performs other duties as assigned.    Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 7+ years experience
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Must be willing to travel 30% of the time
