Function: Sales Support Family: Implementation Management What Implementation Management contributes to Cardinal Health Implementation Management is responsible for planning, organizing and leading solution implementations. Manages project plans, resources, and commitments to the customer. May be involved in budgeting and financial requirements. Monitors and tracks the progress of implementations. Partners with Sales and the customer early in the process to develop implementation project plans. Works with management and peers to develop consistent methodologies based on best practices for efficiently implementing solutions. What is expected of you for success in your role · Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of project management and best practices and/or basic program management skills · Manages scope, time, risk and cost, identifying and communicating areas for improving project timelines and/or performance · Contributes to functional strategy development · Monitors and communicates performance to milestones · Serves as a knowledgeable communicator with all stakeholders (internal and external) · Shares information within a matrix environment · Engages customers in project updates to continually manage customer perceptions · Recognizes new opportunities and communicates to appropriate stakeholders (internal and external) about other Cardinal Health solutions · Inspires others to meet/exceed expectations on a daily basis through own enthusiasm and energy · Anticipates internal/external business issues to align operational priorities, strategies and tactics · Develops relationships with key internal/external customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges · Measures performance of the newly implemented solution against desired results and makes basic improvements; demonstrates a strong sense of ownership for outcomes · Develops value-added solutions that meet customer business needs and shares key learnings with others · Resolves complex problems · Influences customer and/or organizational leadership through effective listening and communication to accomplish operational objectives · Role models Cardinal Health?s high ethical standards and code of conduct Accountabilities in this role · Manages efforts to ensure overall seamless and effective implementation of customer during on-boarding · Serves as a team leader for strategic implementation/on-boarding of new Tier 1 customers of VitalSource and Cardinal Health Specialty Pharmaceutical Distribution · Coordinates with Automated Dispensing Machine (ADM) Implementation Manager to ensure minimal customer disruption during all phases of implementation · Leads on-site assessment for Tier 1 accounts · Provides on-site support during ?go-live? phase at completion of customer implementation · Following implementation, coordinates hand-off of customer support to Customer Service organization Qualifications · Bachelor?s Degree · Minimum 7 years work experience, preferably in project management · Experience in leading non-direct team members via matrix-managed organization · Oncology clinic interface experience preferred · Excellent written and verbal communication skills Primary Location: LaVergne, Tennessee; or California; or Georgia Travel: Yes, up to 50% of the time Requisition ID : 12002679 Primary Location : Tennessee-La Vergne-Tech Park Travel : Yes, 50 % of the Time Schedule : Full-time Job Posting : Mar 15, 2012, 10:53:54 AM
