Senior Consultant – Market Risk or Credit Risk recruitment
You will be an integral part of the consulting team, working closely with sales to (the following are just some of the responsibilities of the role):
- Provide subject matter expertise to customers, prospects and internally to the sales, product and support teams
- Present to clients on risk related subject areas
- Demonstrate solutions and answer complex risk related questions throughout the sales process, e.g. related to regulatory issues, risk measurement methodologies, etc
- Carry out research to ensure you are kept up to date with the regulatory competitor landscape
- Identify customer requirements help qualify prospects
- Help product support teams to design solutions that meet customer demands
- Respond to RFI/RFP in relation to the bid process.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have at least the following requirements:
- Extensive experience in a consulting or pre-sales related role for a financial services consulting firm, bank or financial services company, or financial technology company
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: credit risk, credit analytics, market risk, liquidiy risk, economic capital, asset liability management, counterparty risk.
- Excellent knowledge of risk measurement tools and techniques (financial engineering background is helpful but not always necessary)
- Strong client-facing skills including customer focussed, commercial awareness and ability to present to clients as required
- Strong academic record
- Fluent in English.
