Senior Consultant – Operations recruitment

An exciting opportunity for an Operations / Project Management specialist to join this leading Consultancy in a permanent role. You will work as part of a team of industry specialists providing consulting services to all the major Insurance firms, so you'll quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge to become an expert in your field. The projects you will work on will be complex and challenging, focusing on designing functional operating models, process reengineering, operations improvement, MA support and broader revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. Benefiting from early client exposure and working with and learning from some of the top practitioners in the field, you'll develop quickly, add real value and build credibility in the industry from an early stage thus increasing your own marketability. Successful candidates will have relevant experience within a major insurer or consulting firm involved in either General Insurance or Life Pensions sectors. You will have detailed knowledge and understanding of the UK insurance industry and market; of specific is experience of Life and Pensions and / or working knowledge of Solvency II. You will have excellent project and programme management disciplines including production of detailed project plans, key quality programme deliverables and working and delivering to strict time constraints. All candidates are required to understand risk and how to mitigate risk as well as knowledge of methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma.
