A world class financial software group specialising in buy and sell side investment technology is looking for a senior consultant to join their team.
Specialising in cross-asset solutions and related services to Investment Banks, Brokerage Houses, Asset Management Companies and Hedge Funds within the Equity Derivatives market and commodities.
A large proportion of the work will be based in Korea and extensive travelling there will be required. Interaction with Korean clients is a must to enable lasting relationships.
The role will involve being the product specialist in consulting clients and be an expert. You will be involved in some of the implementation process so therefore technical ability is of high importance.
Responsibilities
Responsible to organise and lead product demonstrations and workshops and ensure that the competitive advantages of the product are understood by the client
Preparation of RFI and RFPs to ensure that the products are presented according to the criteria of your clients
Involvement in the sales cycle to mentor and advise throughout the process and be involved in campaigns and exploratory meetings
Requirements
Must be able to speak Korean
Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar
At least 5 years of work experience in a software consulting or presales role
Financial mathematics and statistics
Cross-asset class Equity Derivatives, Credit, FI, FX
Risk management and financial modelling (financial engineering)
Risk management measures i.e. hedge sensitivity, VaR, PFE
Strong knowledge of the Korean market and its operation
Excellent client relationship management
