Senior Consultant recruitment
Due to continued growth, this leading International Professional services firm is seeking high calibre and experienced Actuaries to join their Hong Kong team.
As a Senior Consultant within their Risk Consulting Division you will be responsible for managing and leading large, high profile, complex projects. Your role will be to deliver excellence in project execution across the Asia Pacific region as well as supporting business development initiatives and the development of project proposals.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating as a highly respected and market-leading consultant in Asia Pacific
- Support new business development initiatives, actively seeking to generate new opportunities and maximise business through relationships and contacts
- Build and maintain relationships with key players within the insurance and financial services market across Asia Pacific
- Maintain a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts
- Take responsibility for the delivery of projects which meet or exceed client expectations, ensuring that they are delivered to time and on budget
- Manage more junior associates assigned to your projects to ensure on-time delivery
- Facilitate the development of less experienced associates through coaching and mentoring on those projects.
- Participate regionally and cross-functionally, bringing technical expertise and promoting teamwork to ensure client satisfaction and profitable business growth.
Experience Qualifications:
- Internationally recognized actuarial qualification
- Significant experience in adding value to insurance and financial services organisations
- A demonstrated understanding of the following: Financial reporting (embedded value, IFRS, USGAAP); Actuarial valuations; Financial modelling; MCEV, stochastic modelling; Product development/pricing; M A
- Excellence in project management and project delivery
- Highly credible, solution-orientated and able to articulate complex issues with senior management
- Ability to propose for, and win, profitable new business
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
- Proven ability to coach and mentor more junior colleagues
- Self driven achiever who values teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
