What Trusted Advisement contributes to Cardinal Health Trusted Advisement is responsible for providing technical and professional expertise during the sales process, which may directly influence the following: the crafting of the sales proposal, the operational requirements or risk, the customer's willingness to buy Cardinal Health's solution (Why Cardinal Health?), the timing (Why Now?), or the customer's satisfaction, and contract negotiations. Accountabilities This role is responsible for assisting 5 sales consultants with educating and developing relationships with customers and key opinion leaders within the nuclear pharmacy space. Serve as the subject matter expert to customers and internal sales/operations on all things PET related. Responsible for market development and assisting sales consultants with growing business with current customers. Assist sales with strategy and pinpointing areas of opportunity. Provide support in the generation of sales and securing key account contracts by providing clinical expertise and consultation, ensuring product and service differentiation, and collaborating with LocalArea Network (LAN) team members and any other key decision-makers. Execute effective clinical and technical education and training programs for internal business partners. Educate molecular imaging community by giving presentations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to keep all parties abreast of the latest products, technologies and trends in the industry. Collaborate with marketing to provide support in preparing presentations, articles on clinical studies and strategic marketing programs and objectives. Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and opportunities, and educate how to increase utilization of the products and services of the business. Continually identify information on the molecular imaging industry, market and competitive intelligence and industry trends. Communicate utilizing automated custome r m anagement system. Represent business unit in professional meetings, conferences and education sessions; maintain involvement with local and national associations and patient advocacy groups. Work closely with the marketing and sales teams in executing strategies needed to meet business goals and objectives. Call on and develops relationships with academic research institutions, key opinion leaders and Pharma partners. Seek to continuously build clinical and technical competence in molecular imaging trends, products and services in order to expand knowledge base and clinical expertise.
