Senior Consultant, Treasury, Capital Markets, Ops Excellence
The team, work with a wide range of banks and other financial institutions to provide Treasury consulting services across the UK and Europe.
Benefiting from direct client exposure and working with and learning from some of the top Treasury practitioners in our field, you will be given the opportunity to develop quickly, add real value for our clients and build credibility in the industry from an early stage.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a team of Treasury specialists providing consulting services to top tier banks and you will quickly build upon and/or develop Treasury knowledge and become an expert in Treasury processes, business architecture, continuous improvement and large scale transformation.
To be successful in this role of working on complex and challenging projects, you will need to understand client needs and translate them into feasible solutions aligned with the banks' overall strategy.
Assignments will focus on offering a client a multi-facetted approach to Treasury management solutions and will include:
- Operating model design and delivery
- Process transformation
- Project management
- Cost reduction
- Risk and Regulation (e.g. intra-day liquidity, EMIR/D-F, Basel 3, RRP)
- Business process strategy and redesign
- Data Analytics
Responsibilities
You will have responsibility for:
- Taking ownership for the delivery of one or more Treasury workstreams
- Understanding the client needs and translating them into feasible solutions
- Defining new processes and/or business requirements for the bank Treasury function
- General process performance analysis (efficiency, error / waste elimination, re-engineering etc)
- Technology transformation support - business process and organisation re-design around a large systems migration.
- Contributing to Deloitte Treasury propositions and continued thought leadership to ensure that appropriate solutions are developed for our clients
