Our Capital Markets Technology practice is a global leader in helping clients improve their strategy and capacity for managing the risks associated with the global marketplace. The practice specializes in all areas of operations, technology, risk management and infrastructure across global asset management, investment banking, insurance, hedge fund, private equity, and mutual fund organizations. - Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
- Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects
- Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions
- Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo
- Facilitate use of technology–based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
- Play substantive/lead role and engagement planning, economics, and billing
- Assist in retention of professionals
- Participate in training efforts
- Play substantive role in enhancing relationships with Deloitte Touche and Deloitte Tax LLP professionals
- Identify opportunities to cross–sell other services
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, Deloitte Touche products and service lines
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
- Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches
- Participate in proposal development efforts
- Participate in "add–on" sales to client
- Membership and visibility in professional civic organizations
- Involvement in planning, budgeting and execution of treasury technology projects including IT strategy, architecture design, system selection and treasury management system ("TMS") implementations
- Play a key role on treasury technology implementations including leading one or more phases including business process design, system design, system build, integration, quality assurance and conversion
- Support the sales process for major opportunities.

MBA, CPA or CFA preferred;
- 4+ years of consulting or major corporation treasury or bank treasury experience with focus on technology;
- Entrepreneurial nature: resourcefulness; flexibility; creativity; energy and versatility.
- Strong sales, presentation, consulting, project management, client, and training/ mentoring skills
- Strong executive presence and good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and to establish credibility as a trusted advisor with clients.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Conceptual and quantitative depth in market risk methodologies and concepts and underlying markets and models
- Strong personal network of industry contacts in major target major corporations and financial institutions.
- Strong background and knowledge in:
- Business System Analysis and Project Management experience within the Financial services industry.
- Data Warehouse, Database, Data Model/data management, ETL and Business Intelligence Expert with experience from Treasury or Banking Operations.
- Treasury transformation and technology projects including process design, RFI/ RFP, system selections, systems architecture design and treasury system implementations
- Implementation methodology and multiple implementations of TMS
- Technology strategies for a corporate treasury or the financial services industry
- General understanding of the relationship among business, protection, technology and industry issues and characteristics
- Demonstrated ability to plan marketing programs, create and direct proposal, and presentation effort
