Senior Contract Administrator
We are the World Leader in Dialysis Products and Services with a position available for a Sr. Contract Administrator in our growing manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities include:
- The Sr. Contract Administrator will work with in-house team of departments and internal customers to create and manage complex orders and agreements primarily for capital equipment, spare parts, and facility services.
- The main responsibility of the Sr. Contract Administrator will be for the procurement of complex Capital Equipment, creating and executing contracts for commodities and services as required.
The individual will also be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Create scope of work requirements and send Request for Proposal to bidders.
- Prepare complex pre-negotiation strategies.
- Negotiate requirements including contact language, terms and conditions, labor rates, material costs, required services, schedules and milestones, funding, quality and reporting.
- Coordinate activity between the supplier and internal technical personnel in the resolution of problems that may arise during the life of the contract.
- Develop and maintain formal project documentation including project charter, scope statement, communication plan, risk plan, and procurement history.
- Initiate and lead in cost savings programs.
- Receive broad assignments with limited supervision.
Requires:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, MBA desirable.
- Seven to ten years progressive experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
- At least one of the following certifications is required: Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
