My client, a Global Defence and Engineering company is looking for a Senior Contracts Officer to join their Western Australia based team. You will provide Commercial support and assist with projects as required. You are able to give advice to Commercial Managers and administer contracts in accordance with company procedures and prepare draft business agreements. You will assist Contract Managers with their bid approvals while keeping track of all invoicing and orders.

You will be able to:
- Sound understanding of contractual compliance
- Identify discrepancies in contracts
- Review internal processes to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Validate progress claims and supporting documentation
- Bring financial analytical and technical acumen
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 years minimum Commercial, Project Management or Contracts experience
- Defence background highly regarded
- Degree qualified in related field (Project Management, Business, Engineering, Commerce, Law, Management etc)
- Relevant industry experience with demonstrable commercial, project management and contracts exposure
- Ability to communicate at all levels within Management
- Ability to work effectively and productively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Proactive and outcomes focussed, with ability to work to tight deadlines and in high pressure environments.
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO GET AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE SECURITY CLEARANCE
