Senior Controller in Fixed Income Control, Financial and Risk Control, Wholesale Banking recruitment

The Fixed Income Control (FIC) is responsible for the PL risk process for the Capital Markets Products (CMP) Fixed Income Trading area. The FIC team is also responsible for performing enhancing independent valuation controls which secure the valuation foundations of the CMP business. The Fixed Income product range is bonds, swaps and inflation products.

As a senior controller you will perform our daily reporting and control processes with a market oriented angle, with focus on understanding the trading business strategies. You will get a key role in understanding, supporting and developing the revaluation curve set-up why strong technical skills are needed. Most of the FIC controls are conducted after market closing, typically between 16.15 and 18.00, why it is a requirement that you are flexible with regards to working hours.

We will also require you to develop knowledge of our product line in close cooperation with stakeholders (including Trading, Quantitative analysts, Operations Group functions) and apply this through improvements of core processes. We will expect you to deliver value adding solutions through active involvement in various business/infrastructure projects throughout the organization.

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Finance/Economics/ Mathematics or other mathematical background and with detailed knowledge of financial products preferably in credit derivatives.

We demand strong IT skills, in particular SQL and VBA. You should be an analytical a self-driven person who takes initiative assumes responsibility to deliver strong value adding results. You should have good communication skills and be excellent in English.

Fixed Income Control (CC) is a team within Product Control Global Rates section (PCGR), Financial and Risk Control (FRC), Wholesale Banking (WB).

The purpose of the Product Control Global Rates section is supporting the Global Rates trading organisation in risk management and strategic decisions on a wide range of credit and interest rate products. PCGR is responsible for controlling and reporting daily profit/loss and market risk figures on the Global Rates area. In addition to the daily reporting PCGR is responsible for conducting and reporting valuation controls. As a facilitator of business development we participate in product approvals and IT infrastructure projects.
