Senior Corporate Accountant Job in Andover 01810, Massachusetts US
Senior Accountant - Andover, MA - Newly created role due to growth - VC backed High-tech company.
Role reports to Corp. Accounting Manager and Controller.
Salary $60 - $75K plus 10% bonus
Responsible for general accounting functions and financial statement preparation for one or more of company’s operating entities. Fixed asset accounting and entering all journal entries to ensure revenue and expenses are properly recorded each period.
- Prepare all journal entries as required for the month end financial closing process for one or more operating entities
- Reconcile customer invoicing, balance sheet accounts
- Assist with ERP Implementation Integration of acquired companies
- Prepare monthly internal financial reporting for the operating entity’s management team.
- Prepare entity’s financial statements - GAAP
- Prepare monthly debt reporting as required by lenders (borrowing base calculations and/ or debt covenant reporting)
- Coordinate the entity’s external annual audit and local statutory reporting, where required.
- Assist Controller with MA activities.
Experience:
- 4+ years experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, Business Administration
- GreatPlains experience a plus
- Positive personality – Team oriented
