Senior Corporate Development Analyst
This business unit of a larger multi-sector business is a well known brand and is considered a market leader in the insurance space. They require a Senior Project Analyst (VP / AD equivalent) to add to their established high profile Corporate Development team. This team looks after more than five insurance and insurance broking businesses and is able to leverage off its other non-insurance brands (e.g: retail stores) for its distribution.
Sitting in the Corporate Development team this role will be varied and encompass 4 separate functions including, mergers acquisitions, business improvement, strategy (including 5 year plan, product mix assessment, go to market strategy, distribution channel assessment) and special ad hoc project work. You will have scope to create your own projects.
The successful candidate will have between 5-9 years experience either within one of the global investment banks within MA / Corporate Advisory, big 4 accounting firms within their MA team, management consulting or in a similar corporate development position. You must have excellent technical skills, a genuine commercial understanding about what drives value in a business and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
