Senior Cost Analyst/Accountant recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper inventory valuation; perform physical audits; reconcile sub-contract and consigned inventories; establish reserves (EO LCM,); publish results with corrective actions.
- Revise and validate standard rates for labor and overhead as well as standard costs for wafers, sub-assemblies and finished goods; measure inventory impact; review with management.
- Prepare financial forecast including model of output and cost structure to support income statement; demonstrate predictability and credibility in forecasting.
- Analyze, manage and report actual results against targets - cost center spend, inventory; drive actions and initiatives to hit and exceed targets.
- Perform all phases of financial close including analysis and capitalization of manufacturing variances; ensure conformance to GAAP and adherence to company policy.
- Participate in decisions regarding inventory risk and cash flow; ensure buy and build plans are against backlog and safety stock / AMA with tie in to lead times and book-and-ship opportunities.
- Support annual business requirements including budget / strategic plan, physical inventory counts, physical asset counts and standard cost revisions.
- Support controls and procedures consistent with S-Ox guidance; ensure fiscal responsibility by adherence to approval policy.
- Key Interface with external auditors at quarter end to satisfy reporting requirements; respond to requests for data and analyses; act on audit points.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Minimum 8 years' operational accounting experience in a Standard Cost Environment.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in SAP/Oracle.
- Microsoft Office with strong advanced Excel skills.
- High Tech/Semi Conductor experience preferred.
