Senior Counsel recruitment
Our Client, a leading international bank is looking for a Senior Counsel to support the legal team in managing custody funds and corporate legal issues.
The Senior Counsel role will have oversight for custody and funds documentation as well as corporate legal services such as vendor agreements, litigation management, regulatory analysis , therefore we would want the candidate to have at least 10+ years of funds experience, but also experience with more general, corporate legal type of work as well as managerial experience. This role would be viewed as the main legal point of contact for the Lux MD and senior management on these areas of law.
The main responsabilities are:
• Legal advisory services to custody and funds segment, operations and sales
• Oversight of client documentation for the custody and funds segment (Custody Funds Segment) including assistance in the development and maintenance of harmonized client documentation (as feasible) to improve ease of business and overall client experience
• Litigation management and Reporting
• Vendor Agreements
• Major outsourcing
• Marketing Support
• Legal advisory services to Luxembourg functional areas
• Regulatory analysis coordination
You must have :
• University or Post-graduate Degree
• Licensed and practicing Lawyer
• Extensive experience in a Legal environment.
• Extensive legal experience in the Luxembourg Custody Funds environment
• Excellent English
• Great Communication/Negotiation skills /Analytical and attentive to details
