Senior Credit Analyst
Our client is a major wholesale bank and an active player in the Structured Trade Finance business globally. They are looking to hire a dynamic and experienced individual to be part of the credit analysis team. Reporting directly to the Head of Credit and being a senior member of the team, the incumbent is expected evaluate credit and make recommendations to management.
Key responsibilities:
· Evaluate credit applications and make recommendation to management.
· Provide provisional assessment/recommendations on new transactions to the front offices.
· Monitor existing transactions including convenant checks and report on problem loans.
· Ensure compliance with the Bank’s rules and procedures.
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified with at least 8 years of solid structured trade finance credit evaluation experience in a banking / financial industry. Strong financial / cashflow modelling skills, proven analytical skills to evaluate credit risks, strong people management skills working with front office and strong written and oral communication skills.
