POSITION SCOPE:
The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity of Customer Master Data (Stewardship).  He/she assists with determining the link between the Company’s strategic initiatives and the customer master data that enables their success.  He/she also assists with identifying improvement opportunities, developing / implementing plans for realizing these opportunities and managing the sustainability of the plans.

The Senior Credit Analyst will also support the Credit Team by providing analytics to continuously improve Management reporting (Receivables / Sales), provide risk / reward profile evaluation of potential and established customer accounts and working capital improvement evaluation.

 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  the following duties / responsibilities are representative of the nature / level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive

- Customer Master Data (CMD) project TEAM – functional contributor
- Complete the cleanse / standardization of existing CMD
- Implement the new process / technology (Portal) to create and maintain CMD
- Document, communicate and manage the definition of data structures, access, profiling, quality rules and correction procedures for CMD
- Administer and ensure conformance with the CMD dictionary subsequent to implementation
- Document up/downstream process effects of CMD modifications
- Administer interim customer account re-activation procedures
- Administrator for the new Customer Master Portal (350+ users)
- Ensure adherence to all GPI Data Governance policies and procedures
- Be the "Gate Keeper" in maintaining consistency, uniformity and accuracy of CMD elements in all systems
- Conduct data profiling, cleansing and enrichment analytics
- Utilize WinShuttle to make manual corrections to data based on profiling and mass uploads as appropriate
- Identify automated correction opportunities and work with IT to implement (e.g. inactivate no activity records)
- Ensure user satisfaction (SLA adherence) of processing efficiency while maintaining proper internal controls
- Collaboratively develop, collect report data quality metrics / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assist with all other CMD administrative tasks as needed
- Participate in formal project teams / activities concerning CMD other domains as appropriate
- Ad-hoc support of business projects related to CMD  (i.e. systems conversions / implementations)
- Analytical support for internal / external audit requests  (Customer related – AR Analytics, Account additions)
- Analytical role within Credit Team to leverage credit information to promote Company revenue / earnings growth
- Ensure adherence to all GPI Credit policies and procedures
- Facilitate credit granting on new / existing customers to achieve company performance objectives / goals
- Develop models to evaluate, document monitor the risk / reward profile of Customer accounts
- Perform analysis of credit and/or financial information, working within established guidelines
- Collaboratively develop, collect report Accounts Receivable metrics / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assist with any other Credit related tasks as needed

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
 
Required:

- Bachelors Degree in a quantitative discipline  (Finance, Accounting, AIS, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering)
- Demonstrated proficiency with process database element deconstruction / passion for process improvement
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel and Access
- 3yrs SAP experience required.  Similar ERP system experience considered
- Experience in master data management approaches, technologies and processes in a complex organization
- Experience in coordinating with multiple departments to achieve business objectives
- 3ys Financial or credit analysis experience
- Effective project management skills  (planning, decision-making, prioritizing, timely completion)
- Must be creative, resourceful, organized and able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Work involves confidential and sensitive information.  Discretion is essential
- Willingness to travel – up to 20% potentially
 

Preferred / Plus

- Advanced Degree in Accounting / Management Information Systems, Finance
- Achievement or pursuit of relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CISA, CPM, CIA…
- Experience / exposure in Credit, Account Receivable, Collections or related area
- Experience with Hyperion, TM1, BI / BW or similar reporting tools
- Manufacturing sector and/or training experience
