Senior Credit Analyst recruitment
My client is a leading pure play asset manager who is managing circa $100 Bn on behalf of both retail and institutional investors. They have an exceptionally successful credit business and run a range of products across investment grade and high yield credit. Their portfolios span both traditional benchmarked long only funds and some very sexy, high alpha, absolute return funds. In fact they run one of the most successful long short credit funds in the UK right now and plan to launch more similar products this year.
They currently have an outstanding opportunity for a very senior corporate credit analyst to join them. Your sector coverage is not important and they will look to fit the role to your skill set, what is important is that you have extensive experience of credit research and can develop alpha generating trade ideas.
The role requires:
• 15+ years experience of corporate credit research in either an investment bank, asset manager or hedge fund
• The ability to create alpha generating trade ideas
• Experience of high yield and ideally investment grade research
The role allows you the freedom to conduct research in the way that you think will be of most benefit, you will not be expected to publish and will instead work closely with the PM’s. Your remuneration will also be directly linked to the success of your trade ideas.
