Senior Credit Analyst recruitment
A leading insurance company is actively seeking a senior credit analyst to join their risk management team. The purpose of the role is to support the management and underwriting of the company's risk portfolio and mitigate against claims and losses.
The principal remit will involve:
Analysing and recording information pertaining to specific portfolios
Preparing reports for stakeholders including: the Risk Underwriting Committee; Risk Offices; and Reinsurance
Analysing counterparty credit quality and making recommendations on credit limits together with providing a credit rating for the counterparty
Maintaining counterparty credit records and ongoing surveillance of counterparties
Mentoring junior members of the team
Undertaking other analysis and ad-hoc projects to support other areas of the business
The successful candidate will:
Be degree educated
Have substantial insurance (including wider financial services) experience
Have a relevant professional qualification
