Senior Credit Analyst | Regional Asset Management | Hong Kong recruitment
I am seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for my client as a plan to expand and enhance its Asia Pacific credit team in Hong Kong.
The analyst will be responsible for fundamental credit research of investment and sub-investment grade corporate issuers in the Australia-Pacific region. The research activities form the basis for recommendations to the portfolio managers of the Asia-Pacific fixed income portfolios and where required, global portfolios.
The role will cover fundamental analysis of investment grade corporates in Greater China, Asia Pac region. The research will help the affiliates the company is working partially in and will come in handy for the firm's portfolio companies.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Credit Analyst, Asset Management, Hong Kong:
- Undertake credit assessments of corporates from within the China and APAC region,
- Work with a wide range of sectors but hopefully develop specialization along the way
- Write research reports as needed
- Work with a committee to present writings to
- Conduct meetings with company management and provide feedback to clients and external parties
- Make fundamental and relative value trade recommendations
- Work with juniors and dictate a culture for the team
Requirements for Senior Credit Analyst, Asset Management, Hong Kong:
- At least 7 Years in Research: Credit / Fixed Income Research, Analysis, Credit Risk or Corporate Finance
- Good profile with 5 yrs experience may be considered
- Previous experience touching on China will be a great advantage
- Exposure and familiarity with a broader Fixed Income Asset class is a plus
- Financial Certifications preferred
- Excellent financial modelling skills
- English essential. Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be beneficial
