Senior Credit Analyst, TMT / Utilities / X-Sector, C&IB
My client is looking to expand their CIB setup following excellent quarterly performance and as such seek a senior corporate credit analyst.
Sector coverage will include TMT, Consumer Utilities, with the option either of specialising in 1 sector or taking responsibility for an X-Sector Portfolio. The role is front facing, working in very close proximity with the Relationship Management setup so for anybody frustrated with the lack of cause effect to their work this could be the antidote.
Key functions:
- Portfolio Analysis across selected vanilla and structured deals, commentary inre: returns
Credit Analysis across prospective transactions across 1 or more of TMT, Consumer, Utilities, Mid Large Cap focus - Preparation Submission of Credit memoranda to Risk Front Office teams, detailed insight recommendation
- Undertake annual review of designated portfolio, justifying recommendation for credit limits in conjunction with ongoing analysis and recommendation of client credit limits based on client, industry and macro-economic data and conditions.
- Diligent maintenance of files data appertaining to clients
Candidates need to have a track record of excellence in the Corporate Credit Analysis space, covering 1 or more of TMT, Consumer or Utilities Defence. Candidates must be able to show exemplary review recommendation writing, influence of sanctioning decisions and the wherewithal as regards market news conditions. Training development will be provided if a X-Sector portfolio is undertaken.
