Senior Credit Control Manager
Responsibilities
As the Senior Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the overall credit exposure for the whole group. This will entail leading the credit control function and ensuring the daily monitoring and control tasks are performed in a thorough manner and also reviewing all credit reports to highlight any signs of deterioration amongst client profiles. The successful candidate will also be tasked with ensuring the control framework is implemented in accordance to the approved credit policies. The job holder will also be responsible in overseeing all the integrated risk management tools and ensuring the data quality and suitability of the production of the credit reports. Moreover, you will be managing the impact of the credit control function where system or organisational changes could impact the data flow or the risk profile of a product. In case of system changes, the Senior Credit Control Managers must ensure data accuracy and integrity are maintained and also liaise with IT to deliver required enhancements. As such, the successful candidate will be involved in drafting user requirements, validating functional specification, conducting UAT and also managing the implementation of the new reporting tool.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will be a degree holder ideally in a finance related discipline from a top tier university and will have at least 5 years’ experience in credit control within an international bank or securities brokerage. The incumbent must have a strong background in managing credit risk projects and also be able to work independently, under pressure and have the ability to use their own initiative. Due to the nature of role and the fact you will be liaising with regional offices, you are also required to have excellent communication skills, which includes written and spoken English.
